The NewBLAST™ is a high-pressure, water-blast cleaning system to remove rust, scale, oil based muds, drilling cement from tubulars up to 13 3/8" O.D. The NewBLAST™ comes standard as a two-pass system, whereas it cleans the O.D. then I.D. in sequence. The NewBLAST™ is powered by a heavy-duty triplex pump that supplies pressure to the traveling overhead gantry trolley and the I.D. lance. All functions are remotely controlled via the operator’s panel. The NewBLAST™ includes two free-standing variable speed hydraulic rotating modules to spin the pipe in place. The rotating modules also index the pipe as well as load and unload. The system is highly customizable so please inquire about your required specifications. The NewBLAST™ has been designed to provide excellent results and ease of use.
Note: Other psi / gpm configurations to fit your requirements are available on request. Please inquire to learn more.

The operator turns on the water-blast pump motor; pipe is loaded onto the rotator modules from the pipe racks by the load arms. The pipe can be indexed for proper alignment. Rotators lift the pipe and trolley with the O.D. water blasting nozzles positioned directly above the pipe. High-pressure pumps begin to spray water from the O.D. nozzle. The pipe rotates in place and the O.D. nozzles, which are suspended from the overhead gantry, automatically move down the pipe. After the O.D. is cleaned, the I.D. lance enters and cleans the pipe's interior while the pipe continues to rotate. The I.D. lance is moved back into its starting position. The clean pipe is then unloaded onto the pipe racks with hydraulic unloader arms.
